If Steve Jobs was the Father of Apple, Inc., then Dennis Ritchie was God. Dennis Ritchie, a major contributor to the computer world, developed the programming language, C, which would later be used to write the Unix which is the platform for Apple's operating system. We lost two major figures of 20th and 21st Century computer technology in a matter of a week, to which we should commemorate both men for having there hand in how the world functions today.
