Where Do Fortune Cookies Originate From?

This is a presentation done by Jennifer Lee on stereotypical Chinese-American Dishes. Jennifer travels around the United States and Asia to try to find the roots to meals such as beef and broccoli, chop suey, general toas chicken and even fortune cookies. All of which were not started in China. This is a great presentation and it isn't that long, just over 16 minutes, but it is very informative. Mrs. Lee's presentation brings to light the close mindedness of people and just because a "chinese food resturant" sells it, doesn't mean it is actual food from their culture. But the point is you can relate this video to a lot of cultures and it teaches us not to be so stereotypical.
